These Card Terms govern the prepaid virtual cards offered through SWAPPED.GG at swapped.gg and related addresses ("SWAPPED.GG", "we", "our", or "us"). They apply in addition to the general Terms of Service. Where the two differ on anything concerning Cards, these Card Terms prevail.
By ordering, funding, holding, or using a Card, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Card Terms. If you do not agree, do not order or use a Card.
1. Definitions
- Card: a prepaid virtual payment card denominated in US dollars, issued by the Card Issuer on a Card Network and made available to you through SWAPPED.GG.
- Card Issuer: the independent third-party financial institutions and card program managers that issue the Card, hold and process the Card Balance, authorize and settle transactions, and set the Card's operating rules. SWAPPED.GG is not the Card Issuer.
- Card Network: the payment scheme the Card runs on, such as Mastercard or Visa.
- Access Code: the random 32-character code that is your only credential for your Cards.
- Deposit Address: the Ethereum address assigned to a Card for funding it.
- Card Balance: the US dollar amount credited to a Card by the Card Issuer and available for spending.
2. No Identity Verification and Eligibility
SWAPPED.GG does not perform identity verification ("KYC") for Cards. We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, address, date of birth, identity documents, email address, or telephone number to order or use a Card. Access depends solely on your Access Code.
The cardholder name and billing details shown for a Card are assigned for the Card's operation and do not identify you. Use them only to complete payments where the Card is accepted.
If the Card Issuer, a Card Network, or applicable law requires information that SWAPPED.GG does not collect, the affected Card may be suspended, restricted, or closed.
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Card Terms. You alone are responsible for determining whether obtaining, funding, and using a Card is lawful in your jurisdiction, and for any reporting or tax obligations that apply to you.
You may not order or use a Card if you are subject to sanctions administered by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or the United States, if you are located in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you act on behalf of such a person.
3. Access Code and Security
Your Access Code is created when you sign up and is shown to you once. It is the only way to access your Cards. SWAPPED.GG cannot recover, reset, or reissue a lost Access Code, and anyone who obtains it can access and use your Cards and their balances.
Keep your Access Code, revealed card details (card number, expiry date, and CVV), and verification codes secret. You are responsible for every action and transaction carried out with your Access Code or card details, whether or not you authorized it, until you replace your Access Code or freeze the affected Card.
Sessions end automatically after a period of inactivity or a maximum duration. Where offered, optional security features such as code replacement and second-factor confirmation are yours to enable and maintain.
4. Nature of the Card
A Card is a prepaid card. You can spend only the Card Balance credited to it. A Card is not a credit card or a bank account and provides no credit, overdraft, or borrowing facility.
Card Balances earn no interest, are not deposits, and are not covered by any deposit guarantee, investor compensation, or similar protection scheme.
SWAPPED.GG is a technology and service provider that arranges the funding and management of Cards. SWAPPED.GG is not a bank, card issuer, or electronic money issuer and does not hold the Card Balance. The Card is issued and operated by the Card Issuer under the rules of the Card Issuer and the Card Network, which may change without notice.
5. Ordering a Card
When you order a Card, SWAPPED.GG creates a pending order and a Deposit Address. The Card is issued only after your first deposit has been confirmed and credited. A pending order that receives no deposit within 72 hours expires.
The number of Cards per customer is limited (currently 14, counting closed Cards). The Card types, networks, and features offered may change or be withdrawn at any time, and a Card type may be temporarily unavailable for new orders.
Issuance may fail or be delayed for reasons outside our control, including the availability or decisions of the Card Issuer. Card details such as the card number, expiry date, and billing details are determined by the Card Issuer.
6. Funding a Card
Each Card has one permanent Deposit Address, which accepts only USDT (ERC-20) on the Ethereum mainnet. Other assets can be used only through the swap offered on the Card's deposit page, which converts them to USDT and delivers it to the Deposit Address.
USDT sent on any other network, any other token, and any asset sent to an address other than the one shown for your Card will not be credited and may be permanently lost. SWAPPED.GG has no obligation to recover such assets.
A deposit is processed once it is confirmed on the Ethereum network (currently three confirmations). SWAPPED.GG counts 1 USDT as 1 US dollar, deducts the applicable fees, and asks the Card Issuer to credit the net amount to your Card. Processing and crediting times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Each funding must credit at least the minimum shown at the time (currently US$25). A deposit below the minimum is held at the Deposit Address, without charge, and is combined with later deposits until the minimum is reached.
Until a deposit is credited, the USDT stays at the Card's Deposit Address under SWAPPED.GG's control for the sole purpose of funding that Card. Funding is held while the Card is frozen, while the network fee is above its cap, while the Card Issuer, the Ethereum network, or our pricing data is unavailable, or while a deposit needs review. Held funds stay at the Deposit Address until the condition clears; they are not returned automatically.
Swaps of other assets are carried out by independent third-party providers. Quotes are estimates valid for a limited time, and the amount delivered may differ from the quote. The Terms of Service apply to every swap.
There is no automatic reloading. Every funding results only from a deposit you choose to make.
7. Fees
SWAPPED.GG's fees are shown before you create a Card and before each deposit, and the figures shown at that time apply. They may differ between customers and may change for future deposits. They consist of:
- a one-time card issuance fee, deducted from the first funding;
- a top-up fee, a percentage of each funding, which includes the Card Issuer's charge for loading the Card;
- a network fee in USDT for moving the deposit on Ethereum, priced from the live network and capped per funding at the limit shown before you deposit (above the cap the deposit waits). Any unused part of a quoted network fee buffer is credited to the Card.
Transfers between your own Cards carry no SWAPPED.GG fee; any Card Issuer charges are shown before you confirm.
The Card Issuer charges its own fees, which are deducted from the Card Balance. They currently include:
- Cross-border fee: 1% (Mastercard); waived (Visa)
- Transaction fee: 0.5% (Mastercard)
- FX fee for spending in a currency other than USD: 1.5% (Visa)
- Refund fee: 2% of the refunded amount
- Chargeback penalty: US$0.50 per chargeback
- Decline fee: US$0.50 when a charge exceeds the Card Balance
- Small transaction fee: US$0.30 for purchases under US$50
- Void / cancellation fee: US$1 per cancelled purchase of US$5 or more
- Apple Pay / Google Pay fee: 0.2%
- Card cancellation fee: US$0.50 when a Card is cancelled because of chargebacks
Card Issuer fees are set by the Card Issuer and may change without notice. Merchants, the Card Network's currency conversion, and other third parties may charge further amounts outside SWAPPED.GG's control.
8. Using the Card
You may use a Card wherever the Card Network is accepted for online and card-not-present payments, subject to the Card Issuer's rules. Acceptance by any merchant, platform, or country is not guaranteed.
Transactions may be declined, for example for an insufficient balance, an inactive, locked, or frozen Card, incorrect card details, a merchant category or country the Card Issuer does not allow, or a risk decision of the Card Issuer or the Card Network. SWAPPED.GG does not control these decisions.
Features such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, recurring payments, subscriptions, and verification by particular merchants depend on the Card Issuer, the Card Network, and the merchant, and are not guaranteed.
SWAPPED.GG is not a party to your purchases. Any complaint about goods or services must be raised with the merchant.
Keep enough balance for your transactions, the related fees, and amounts a merchant may capture later. If a transaction or fee settles for more than the Card Balance, you owe the difference, and SWAPPED.GG may deduct it from later fundings of any of your Cards.
9. Prohibited Use
You must not use a Card, or allow a Card to be used:
- for any purpose that is unlawful where you are, where the merchant is, or under the laws that apply to SWAPPED.GG or the Card Issuer;
- for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion, or to disguise the origin of funds;
- with funds that you do not lawfully own or control;
- to raise false or abusive chargebacks or disputes, or to test card details;
- for any transaction that the Card Network or the Card Issuer prohibits;
- by or for a sanctioned person, or in a country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions.
SWAPPED.GG may decline to fund a Card, hold a deposit, freeze a Card, or stop supporting a Card where we reasonably suspect a breach of this section, where the law requires it, or where the Card Issuer or the Card Network requires it.
10. Declines, Chargebacks, and Closure by the Card Issuer
The Card Issuer may lock, suspend, or cancel a Card at any time under its own risk, compliance, and operational rules. In particular, a Card is cancelled automatically:
- after 5 consecutive declined attempts;
- when declined transactions reach 20% of all transactions on the Card;
- when the Card Issuer's limits for chargebacks are exceeded, or for any other reason the Card Issuer decides.
SWAPPED.GG cannot override these decisions and may not be told the reason. A cancelled Card cannot be used or reactivated, and the fees and penalties in the Fees section may apply.
11. Refunds, Disputes, and No Withdrawals
Merchant refunds and reversals are returned to the original Card, less any Card Issuer refund fee, and may take as long as the merchant and the Card Network require.
Card Balances cannot be withdrawn through SWAPPED.GG as cryptocurrency, cash, or to a bank account. Deposits that have been credited to a Card cannot be returned to a blockchain address.
Disputes about a transaction must be raised promptly. SWAPPED.GG may pass a dispute on to the Card Issuer but does not guarantee any outcome.
12. Freezing, Transfers, and Card Details
You can freeze and unfreeze a Card at any time. A freeze takes effect once any funding or transfer in progress on that Card has finished. A frozen Card cannot be used or loaded; deposits made while it is frozen are held and credited after you unfreeze it. Refunds, captures of earlier authorizations, and fees may still post to a frozen Card.
Where offered, you can move Card Balance between your own Cards. Transfers to other customers or to outside cards are not possible. A transfer completes in two steps and may stay in progress, for example while the receiving Card is frozen.
Card details and verification codes can be revealed only for short periods and a limited number of times. Balances and activity shown by SWAPPED.GG may lag behind the Card Issuer's records.
13. Closed Cards and Remaining Balances
If a Card is closed by the Card Issuer or for any other reason, its remaining balance is handled under the Card Issuer's procedures. SWAPPED.GG will make reasonable efforts to have a recoverable balance returned to you, for example to another Card you hold, but does not guarantee its recovery, amount, or timing.
Deposits sent to the Deposit Address of a closed, cancelled, or expired Card are held and not credited automatically. SWAPPED.GG may, at its discretion, apply them to another Card you hold. Never send funds to the Deposit Address of a Card that is no longer active.
14. Third Parties and Availability
Cards depend on the Card Issuer, the Card Network, the Ethereum network, swap providers, and other third parties that SWAPPED.GG does not control. Their outages, delays, errors, insolvency, or changes of rules may delay, block, or prevent the funding or use of a Card or the recovery of its balance. SWAPPED.GG is not responsible for their acts or omissions.
SWAPPED.GG may change, suspend, or discontinue Cards, Card types, or card features at any time, including where the Card Issuer ends or changes its program. Where practical, we will give notice on the website.
15. Privacy
SWAPPED.GG keeps only what it needs to operate Cards: a one-way verifier of your Access Code, session data, card and deposit records, and blockchain transaction data. We do not keep card numbers, CVVs, or verification codes in our own records.
Card details, transactions, and billing details are processed by the Card Issuer and the Card Network under their own policies. Blockchain transactions are public and permanent.
16. Liability and Indemnification
THE DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, LIMITATION OF LIABILITY, AND INDEMNIFICATION IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE ALSO APPLY TO CARDS. IN ADDITION, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SWAPPED IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM A LOST OR DISCLOSED ACCESS CODE OR CARD DETAILS; ASSETS SENT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS, NETWORK, OR TOKEN; THE DECISIONS, FEES, OUTAGES, OR INSOLVENCY OF THE CARD ISSUER, THE CARD NETWORK, OR ANY OTHER THIRD PARTY; DECLINED, REVERSED, OR DISPUTED TRANSACTIONS; OR THE LOCKING, SUSPENSION, OR CANCELLATION OF A CARD.
IF LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, SWAPPED'S TOTAL LIABILITY RELATING TO CARDS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE SWAPPED FEES YOU PAID FOR THE AFFECTED CARD IN THE THREE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify SWAPPED.GG against all claims, losses, fees, chargebacks, penalties, and costs arising from your use of a Card or your breach of these Card Terms.
17. Changes to These Card Terms
SWAPPED.GG may update these Card Terms at any time. Updated terms take effect when published and apply to your continued holding or use of a Card. If you do not agree, stop using your Cards.

BY ORDERING, FUNDING, OR USING A CARD, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE CARD IS ISSUED AND OPERATED BY AN INDEPENDENT CARD ISSUER, THAT SWAPPED DOES NOT VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY AND CANNOT RECOVER A LOST ACCESS CODE, AND THAT YOU ACCEPT THE RISKS DESCRIBED IN THESE CARD TERMS.
